Our software landscape now gains a unified look and a central entry point for administrators and users, from which all applications can be administered and managed in the future.
With the Geutebrück Hub, we are embarking on a harmonized and future-proof Geutebrück platform. The Hub centralizes the management of users, permissions, and resources and ensures that applications operate on a common foundation and can be accessed through a shared interface. G-Insights already uses this concept today and benefits from centralized user and rights management. At the same time, the Hub forms the technological foundation for the gradual integration of additional Geutebrück solutions.
For Users
For users, this means simple and consistent access to the Geutebrück software world. After logging in, the applications and resources authorized for the respective user are centrally available. Instead of having to manage different user accounts and permission concepts, a unified user experience is created with clear access rights and a central point of entry.
For Administrators
Administrators also benefit from this approach. Users, groups, roles, permissions, and resources are centrally managed and can be used across applications. This enables access rights to be assigned consistently, reduces administrative effort, and makes it easier to integrate new applications into existing structures.
It is the foundation of a growing platform that already offers customers noticeable added value today while simultaneously creating the conditions required to seamlessly, securely, and conveniently connect all Geutebrück solutions in the future.
The new generation of Geutebrück solutions will be consistently developed as browser-based solutions. They are accessed and used directly via a supported web browser. No local installation of client software is required. Access is provided centrally through the Geutebrück Hub, enabling users to work with a modern, unified, and secure user interface.
Role-Based Access Control
User management in the Geutebrück Hub is based on a role-based access concept. Instead of assigning permissions individually to each user, users are grouped together. Roles are assigned to these groups, defining which functions and resources a user is allowed to access.
This allows user rights to be managed simply, clearly, and consistently. If an employee's responsibilities change, it is usually sufficient to assign them to a different group. The corresponding permissions are then applied automatically.
For administrators, this significantly reduces administrative effort. For users, it means they see exactly the applications, functions, and resources they need for their work.
