The Carmen® GO plug-in for G-Connect from Geutebrück GmbH enhances your video management solution with powerful automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). It is based on the Carmen® GO software from Adaptive Recognition, an internationally recognized provider of recognition technologies. The solution reliably recognizes vehicle license plates and relevant vehicle data—in real time, worldwide, and without additional trigger hardware.
Perfectly matched to G-Connect
The plug-in is fully integrated into the G-Connect environment and uses its infrastructure for automated processing. It continuously monitors the database entries of Carmen® GO and reacts immediately to new detections. The information read out — such as license plate numbers, capture times, and metadata—is automatically transferred to the Geutebrück system, where it is available for alerting, logging, or event control.
Modern communication via REST interface
The plug-in communicates with the Carmen® GO backend via a REST API. Since version 1.4 of Carmen® GO, authentication via username and password is required; after successful login, a token is generated that is used for all further data queries—a security feature that is also fully supported in the plug-in.
