Integration of the G-Connect DMP interface for DMP alarm panels
Technologypartner: DMP
Integration Developer: Geutebrück GmbH
Integration platform: Geutebrück G-Core
Type of Integration: G-Connect
The G-Connect DMP interface integrates DMP alarm panels into the Geutebrück ecosystem. The DMP control panels send their messages via TCP/IP to a port opened in G-Connect. There, the raw messages are received, classified and converted into appropriate G-Core actions. This enables alarm, door and system messages from the DMP environment to be processed, displayed and forwarded centrally within Geutebrück.
Key features at a glance
Centralised alarm processing:
Alarms from DMP burglary, fire and technical systems are made directly available in G-Core.
Integration of access events:
Door events from the DMP environment can be integrated into existing security and control centre processes.
Retention of original information:
The original message from the DMP panel remains visible and traceable in G-Core.
Clear mapping to action types:
Different DMP messages are automatically converted into appropriate G-Core actions.
Seamless integration into existing workflows:
Alarm and status messages can be processed within the Geutebrück environment alongside video, control centre logic and other systems.
Typical areas of application
- Public/local authorities
- Healthcare
- Logistics
- Banking
- Utilities
- Data and distribution centres
- Institutions with high security requirements
Scope of functions
Receiving DMP messages via TCP/IP
The DMP alarm panel establishes a connection to an open port on the G-Connect system and sends its messages there. G-Connect receives this raw data and interprets the message type.
Automatic conversion to G-Core actions
Depending on the content and classification of the DMP message, the message is assigned to a suitable G-Core action type. In particular, a distinction is made between alarm messages from zones, door access points and general system messages.
Display of the original message in G-Core
The original message from the DMP panel is included in the generated G-Core action. This ensures that the exact source information is retained for evaluation, traceability and support.
Conclusion
The G-Connect DMP interface enables the integration of DMP alarm panels into the Geutebrück platform via direct TCP/IP communication. Incoming messages are automatically classified and translated into appropriate G-Core actions. This allows alarm, door and system messages from the DMP ecosystem to be centrally processed, visualised and integrated into overarching security processes.
