The Situation
In facilities where the spread of contamination by external personnel must be avoided, such as prisons, psychiatric institutions and similar, compliance with protective clothing guidelines is becoming an essential safety factor.
Carelessness or non-compliance with the protective measures should be made impossible and any damage to health should be avoided at all costs.
The Requirement
Hospitals, especially intensive care units, laboratories etc. may currently only be entered whilst a face mask. In addition, external personnel in closed facilities, such as canteen staff in prisons, must absolutely comply with appropriate safety regulations.
In order to assist untrained visitors and especially the staff, who checks that those measures are being observed, an additional technical solution is available.
If a person with insufficient protective clothing tries to enter a restricted area, an access control process is initiated (refusal of access, activation of an alarm or similar).
According to the DSGVO, the personal rights of individuals must be protected.
The Geutebrück Individual Solution
The artificial intelligence (AI)-based solution for detecting protective clothing helps to significantly improve hygiene. In an urgent case, it can set off an alarm which the responsible person receives for verification.
An interface of the Geutebrück system to the automatic door locking system with traffic lights guarantees an automatic procedure.
When the AI detects the required protective clothing, the safety area door is automatically unlocked. If the AI detects incomplete protective clothing, the entrance remains locked.
