ADAC Central Munich - 21 million members managed safely and securely
The ADAC is an automobile club with over 21 million members. The head office is in Munich. The entire complex includes individual and open-plan offices, a visitor and conference centre, a casino, a publishing house, meeting rooms with video conferencing equipment and a television studio. A three-storey underground car park forms the substructure.
The project
In the ample outside area of the building complex, especially the accesses to the building and the underground car park are secured with video technology. The security staff can also keep an eye on the rear side of the building, which is difficult to see. The images are transmitted by several dozen digital cameras that reliably record all important processes. Thermal imaging cameras at night or in poor weather conditions ensure that security personnel do not miss a single detail. The underground car park and other critical areas, such as the server room, are also integrated into the security concept, as well as the display of images at all door intercoms.
