Windhagen, January 22, 2021 - As less storage space is needed due to the transformation from hardware to software provider, Geutebrück GmbH sells some premises to the municipality of Windhagen, where the company's headquarters are located.  These include the production and storage hall as well as the "office tower", which has been used by "Wirtgen Invest" for several years.

Geutebrück is an international provider of intelligent video security solutions 'Made in Germany'. The proprietary, highly available software and the coordinated hardware protect people, buildings, objects, intellectual property and values, always in compliance with the European GDPR.

The transaction is integral to the company's strategic plan for the coming years. The two managing directors Katharina Geutebrück and Christoph Hoffmann have been realigning the family business for five years, since moving into the adjacent new building, in order to push ahead with digitalization and the development of flexible software solutions. Software development requires neither production nor storage and thus far less space. Since the flexibility of the home office will remain after Corona, the remaining space can be used more efficiently.

The municipality intends to use the space for additional childcare places, for example. Katharina Geutebrück, daughter of the company's founder: "We no longer require the premises to that extent and started looking around for alternative usage. This is an excellent solution for our employees as well. Especially the young parents in our team will benefit greatly from being able to visit their young ones at any time. We are really looking forward to our new "little" neighbors."

Geutebrück was founded in 1970 by Thomas Geutebrück in a garage in Bad Honnef near Bonn. Today, the company's customers range from industrial plants and operators of critical infrastructure to banks, logistics service providers and the public sector in more than 70 countries worldwide.
